The Junior Finance Manager will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the company, assisting in financial planning and analysis, and contributing to the overall financial health of the organization. This role provides an excellent opportunity for career growth and development in the field of finance. 

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

  • Compile and analyze financial data, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

  • Generate financial statements and present findings to senior management.

  • Support the development and monitoring of the annual budget.

  • Work closely with various departments to gather budget inputs and track expenditures.

  • Assist in preparing financial forecasts and variance analysis.

  • Conduct financial analysis on key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends and areas for improvement.

  • Analyze financial data and provide insights to assist in strategic decision-making.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and interpret financial results.

  • Oversee routine financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.

  • Ensure accuracy in recording financial transactions and adherence to accounting principles.

  • Assist in the maintenance of financial records and documentation.

  • Support the Finance Manager in ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.

  • Assist in the coordination of internal and external audits.

  • Participate in the implementation and improvement of internal controls.

  • Undertake special projects as assigned by senior management.

  • Contribute to process improvements and efficiency initiatives within the finance department.

  • KPIs development and tracking
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting roles.

  • Strong understanding of financial principles and accounting practices.

  • Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant financial software.
