Overview

Position is ON SITE in Bogotá, Colombia. 

 

This role offers a unique opportunity to be a part of a new humanitarian legal line within the law firm and contribute to the firm's growth and strategic development. Your primary duties involve the gathering, reviewing, and reporting of documentation crucial to the success of our client’s cases. Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to adhere to ever-changing immigration laws are crucial in the contribution towards building strong cases for clients.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients to collect evidence relating to their case, including but not limited to; police reports, medical records, photographs, as well as other supporting documentation, while professionally representing AA.
  • Review all collected documentation for relevance, authenticity, and credibility. Verify that the evidence meets the requirements for a T-Visa case and fully supports the client’s claims.
  • Assist in preparing and drafting affidavits, declarations, as well as other supporting documents based on the evidence gathered. Ensure that all documents accurately reflect the evidence and are formatted appropriately for submission.
  • Prepare evidence packages for submission to immigration or relevant entities/authorities.
  • Ability to meet deadlines, while adhering to all current processes and compliances.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are crucial to the success of each employee, the company, and the outcome of each client’s case. The Evidence Processor is responsible for communicating both directly with clients, as well as cross-functionally within AA. All documentation, reports, and updates provided must be clear, concise, and accurate.
  • Use current platforms to document and track each client’s case, with exceptional organizational skills.
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure work is accurate and thorough. Review work is completed through self-quality checks and contributes to building strong cases.
  • Accurately complete and pre-fill various legal forms required for the verification process, ensuring all necessary information is provided.

Qualifications

  • Bilingual: English/Spanish
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 2+ years professional experience.
  • Prior experience working with T-Visas preferred.
  • High level of attention to detail to ensure the accuracy and completeness of legal documents.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and trends.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Detail-oriented and able to work with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and communicate insights to stakeholders.
  • A commitment to providing exceptional service to clients and applicants, often in challenging and time-sensitive situations.
