As an IT Systems Analyst, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions. This position involves analyzing, designing, and implementing information systems to meet the organization's objectives. The IT Systems Analyst will work closely with various stakeholders, including business users, developers, and project managers, to ensure the successful development and deployment of IT solutions.

 

Onsite job based in Barrio Santa Barbara 

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document their requirements for information systems.
  • Conduct interviews, surveys, and workshops to gather comprehensive and accurate requirements.
  • Develop detailed system specifications and design documents based on the gathered requirements.
  • Work with development teams to ensure the design aligns with organizational standards and best practices.
  • Analyze existing systems and processes to identify areas for improvement.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and impact assessments for proposed changes or enhancements.
  • Create and maintain thorough documentation of system requirements, design specifications, and test plans.
  • Ensure documentation is clear, comprehensive, and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, quality assurance, and project managers, to ensure seamless implementation of IT solutions.
  • Provide ongoing support and communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop test cases and participate in the testing process to ensure the quality and reliability of implemented solutions.
  • Work with QA teams to address and resolve any issues identified during testing.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on new or updated systems.
  • Address and resolve issues or concerns raised by users in a timely manner.
  • Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the continuous enhancement of IT systems and processes.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bilingual English-Spanish
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience as an IT Systems Analyst or similar role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies.
  • Knowledge of system development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
  • Proficiency in documentation tools and techniques.
