The Operations Supervisor plays a key leadership role responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day activities of an organization or a specific department within an organization. Responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating the operations of an organization or a specific department to ensure smooth and efficient business processes.

 

This is an onsite job in CDMX,   Lomas de Chapultepec. 

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures to achieve organizational goals. Including setting, and monitoring SOPs , KPIs and SLAs. 
  • Collaborate with senior management to align operations with overall business objectives.
  • Lead and manage a team of employees, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement effective solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Streamline workflow processes and optimize resource utilization.
  • Develop and manage budgets for operational activities.
  • Monitor and control expenses to meet financial objectives.
  • Ensure that products or services meet quality standards and customer expectations.
  • Implement quality control measures and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee supply chain management, including procurement, inventory control, and distribution.
  • Optimize logistics processes to minimize costs and maximize efficiency.
  • Identify and mitigate operational risks.
  • Develop and implement contingency plans to ensure business continuity.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, legal requirements, and company policies.
  • Implement and monitor internal controls to minimize risk.
  • Communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including senior management, employees, and external partners.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and information sharing.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bilingual English/Spanish  . English is required B2 or C1 level. 
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field (Master's degree is often preferred).
  • At least 4 years of experience in operations management or a related role, preferrably in BPO or call center. 
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends.
  • Proficient in using relevant software and tools.
