Overview

 

 

The ideal candidate for this position will find and attract qualified applicants for open positions. They will review resumes, focus on skill matching to the requirements at hand and interview candidates until they find the right fit that we are looking for.

It is expected that this candidate will have strong people skills and the ability to synthesize information quickly and efficiently. They should foster good relationships with recruits and company staffing agents and be able to follow through on a project. 

Responsibilities

Must be bilingual in English & Spanish (written, verbal, reading). Must have strong verbal & written communication skills. Must have 2-3 years of experience. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related software and google Suite products. Proven experience in the following areas:

  • Demonstrated ability to establish effective and cooperative working relationships built on trust.
  • Comfortable making independent decisions.
  • Working knowledge of applicant tracking and HRIS systems.
  • Working knowledge of interview techniques and applicant screening methods.
  • Thorough understanding of employment laws and regulations.
  • Familiar with a wide variety of sourcing avenues.

Must be an excellent verbal and written communicator with all levels of personnel and customers outside the organization. Acts with integrity, professionalism, and maintains confidentiality. Detailed oriented required to handle large volumes of work simultaneously. Essential skills include:

 

  • Sourcing candidates using a variety of search methods to build a robust candidate pipeline.
  • Screening candidates by reviewing resumes and job applications and performing phone/virtual screenings.
  • Taking ownership of candidate experience by designing and managing it.
  • Developing job postings, job descriptions, and position requirements.
  • Performing reference checks, as needed.
  • Facilitating the offer process by extending the offer and negotiating employment terms.
  • Managing the overall interview, selection, and closing processes.
  • Ensuring all screening, hiring, and selection is performed in accordance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related field of study.
  • Bilingual: English
  • 2+ years of professional working experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of recruitment best practices, employment laws, and HR policies.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other HR software.
