We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Bilingual Network Administrator
to support, manage, and optimize our global network infrastructure. The ideal candidate
will have a strong technical foundation in network administration, expertise in managing
global networks, and the ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish.
This role is critical in ensuring the availability, reliability, and security of our network
systems across diverse geographic locations.

Responsibilities

Network Administration

  • Design, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, and VPN networks across global locations.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure minimal downtime and optimal connectivity.
  • Implement and manage network security measures, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and endpoint protection.
  • Perform routine network maintenance, updates, and backups to ensure system integrity.
  • Manage and support network hardware, including routers, switches, access points, and servers.

Global Network Management

  • Oversee the connectivity and interoperability of global networks, ensuring seamless communication between international locations.
  • Collaborate with regional IT teams to implement standardized network solutions and maintain consistent performance.
  • Optimize network configurations to handle varying demands across different time zones and regions.

Support and Troubleshooting

  • Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for network-related issues, resolving incidents promptly to minimize impact on business operations.
  • Analyze and resolve complex network problems across diverse infrastructure and environments.
  • Document and maintain records of network configurations, upgrades, and resolutions.

Bilingual Communication

  • Utilize bilingual (English/Spanish) skills to effectively communicate with diverse teams, vendors, and stakeholders across global locations.
  • Provide clear technical guidance and training to team members and end users in both languages.
  • Serve as a liaison between English- and Spanish-speaking regions to ensure alignment on network initiatives and strategies.

Project Management and Collaboration

  • Participate in network design and implementation projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to business requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support IT initiatives and infrastructure improvements.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to enhance network performance and security.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in network administration, including global or multi-site networks.
  • Proficiency in managing network technologies, such as Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, or similar platforms.
  • Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, BGP, OSPF).
  • Experience with cloud-based networking solutions (AWS, Azure, GCP) and SD-WAN.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (verbal and written).

Preferred:

  • Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent.
  • Experience with video conferencing, and other communication systems.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and change management.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and tools.
