Responsibilities

 

• Develop ad hoc analysis for decision leaders within the organization

• Develop live budgets & forecast models based on comparative performance metrics and implement

improvements as the business grows.

• Perform cost analysis for the firm based on established business KPIs and drivers

• Work with others on various planning exercises, such as forecasting, budgets, profitability analysis, and

reporting

• Develop cash flow reports and projections based on financial statements and known planned activities

• Develop business cases to support pricing decisions and create innovative strategies for cost reduction.

• Improve fiscal health with thorough analyses of financial data: develop deep, actionable insights to drive

business performance by monitoring variances and identifying trends.

• Analyze revenue & expense trends and variances and update budgets as required.

• Leverage our firms’ analytics tools and software through our system integrations to build performance dashboards, automated KPIs, scenario planning and other analytics

 

  • Metrics/KPIs

     

    • Timely completion of all projects

    • Effective maintenance of budgets, projections and variance analysis.

    • Timely completion of ad hoc reports and analyses.

    • Effective maintenance and continuous improvement of dashboards and reports

    • Support business cases by providing financial inputs to decision making

     

    Decision Rights

     

    • Evaluate how well budgets align with company goals.

    • Unrestrained access to review and audit all firm financial and client data.

    • Ability to raise senior executives’ attention to major issues.

Qualifications

 

 

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field required. Master’s degree a plus.

• Two years of professional experience as an accountant, financial analyst, or data programmer AND/OR valid CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certificate with at least one year of professional experience as an accountant, auditor, or computer programmer analyst.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to travel internationally

• Bilingual (English & Spanish)

• Thorough understanding of methods of systems analysis and the principles, design, and procedural methods used in big data analysis.

• Advanced skills on Microsoft Excel

• Desired skills: FP&A software (Jedox, Anaplan, etc.), Accounting software (Sage Intacct, SAP, etc.)
